The Alleghany Highlands Regional Library is offering free classes for adults and teens interested in increasing their digital knowledge base. The AHRL Digital Literacy series aims to increase patrons’ familiarity with computers, as well as teach participants basic skills to perform online tasks.
The second class in the AHRL Digital Literacy series is Microsoft Word Basics I. In this session, participants will work through the basics of navigating Microsoft Word. Topics covered will include: navigating the MS Word ribbon and toolbar; creating and formatting documents; page layout; and sharing and saving your documents.
Local instructor Adrienne Young will offer Microsoft Word Basics I on Tuesday, November 22nd beginning at 6:00 pm.
