With the holiday season fast approaching the Alleghany Cruisers are gearing up for one more big event for area car enthusiasts before the season ends.
The 1st Annual Holiday Hot Rod Round Up will be held Sunday, October 16 at the Jackson River Sports Complex. This event is being held to raise funds to support the local Angel Tree program run by the Salvation Army. The Angel Tree program supports area children in need during the Christmas season.
“Our club wanted to do a fall event and we wanted to do something for our community at the same time.” : said Alleghany Cruisers president Robert Floyd. “The Angel Tree program is a great program as it directly benefits local children in need. We want to do our part in our community to help ensure that every local child has a Merry Christmas.”
The Holiday Hot Rod Round Up will be open to vehicles of all types. Registration will open at 9:00 AM with the public event hours being from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Registering a vehicle for this event costs just $10.00. In addition to the cars, this event will feature a live D.J., door prizes, food vendors, a 50/50 drawing, and more.
