Friends,
I am thrilled to see that this country is starting to get back on the right track. With this historical Supreme Court decision surrounding Roe v. Wade, the power to choose life is back where it belongs: in the hands of the states.
But this is only the first step in what I pray will be a series of victories for the unborn. We must not become complacent with this monumental decision, but instead take this momentum to Richmond. The Democrats hold a thin majority in the Senate, a mere 21-to-19, and 2023 will see a multitude of Virginia Senate elections take place. It is time for Virginia to do the right thing, and to summarily choose life.
Senator Hackworth, one of my colleagues, has pledged to carry the “Protecting Virginia’s Children Act”, which I am proud to support. This bill will protect life beginning at conception.
My entire adult life, between serving in the Army to working the streets as a cop in Prince William, has been focused on protecting American lives. I stand proudly by my voting record knowing that the same diligence and respect has been shown to the unborn throughout my time in office.
As your Senator, I will continue to fight for the unborn, those that I consider ‘the least, the last, and the lost’ within our society. It is my honor and privilege to be able to represent you in Richmond, and I intend on continuing to uphold and protect our shared conservative values, including the right to life for every Virginian, born and unborn.
