Dear Editor,
From what I see in the news Biden voters should be happy, He is doing exactly what he said he would do. Do away with fossil fuels, open the border for new Democrat voters, and shut down pipelines. He’s doing a bang-up job. So what if you can’t afford gas to go to work or you freeze to death this winter because of high heating oil prices. Just remember you are saving the planet. That’s according to them. Stopping the flow of gas and oil is job one, and nothing else matters. Something that has been overlooked in all of this is that oil and gas equate to power. Look at Russia, they have power over Europe because they are energy rich. Before Biden, we were producing more oil than we could use and exporting it. The present administration is begging Saudi Arabia and others for oil. How many of you remember Biden bragging about stopping the keystone pipeline? That’s what he did the first day. Many well paid jobs were lost that day. We went downhill from there and maybe will never recover. On the issue of gun control and new laws, here’s the way I see it. Laws are for law-abiding and mentally stable people. Criminals and mentally ill people don’t check the law books before they shoot you or rob or otherwise maim people. News people call these terrible shootings we’ve had gun violence when it’s really people violence. They don’t want to put the blame where it really lies, on sorry drug addicted parents or parents that turn their kids loose to fend for themselves. Some will have you believe that if you have and shoot a gun you are a bad person. I’ve been carrying a gun in the woods since I was twelve years old. We grew up with a gun sitting in a corner most of the time and knew not to bother it. That was when there were rules and you still followed them. Most kids today don’t know what rules are, they are the time-out generation. Here’s what I think on these school shootings, train and arm the teachers, they are the last line of defense. All these trillions of dollars being spent and wasted and non on mentally ill people are why we are where we are in this country. Drugs and lack of mental health treatment are the cause of most of these shootings. Also, the representatives in congress spew hate every day and it is passed on down the line until it’s not safe to go out in cities anymore. From what I see those people all hate each other. Where I live we still like each other, can you tell me the difference? I am a Trump supporter.
Yours Truly,
