Boys Home of Virginia is excited to welcome Catie Cole as admissions coordinator. Originally from Indiana, Caite now lives in Covington with her husband, Austin. She was homeschooled through the completion of high school. After graduation, she attended Ambassador Baptist College and Liberty University. Prior to her current position, Catie served as a houseparent and substitute teacher at Boys Home for seven years. She began the position of admissions coordinator in October 2021 and was excited to prepare for a group of incoming students that December.

One of Catie’s passions is instilling the importance of preparing for life after high school to the current students. This is an area where she felt underprepared and desires to set the current students up for success. In addition, the open and honest culture of Christian faith at Boys Home resonates strongly with Catie. She loves interacting with the students and assisting them on their spiritual journey. When Catie is not working she enjoys hiking, kayaking, camping, and movies.

Boys Home of Virginia, founded in 1906, provides a healthy and supportive environment for young men whose lives have been negatively impacted by poverty or family instability. Students are provided food, clothing, shelter, and guidance in a manner that supports the successful transition to adulthood along with educational and career opportunities. Boys Home, a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization, is almost entirely privately funded by individuals, organizations, churches, and foundations.
