Sue Robinson of 134 Hallies Road continued her journey to eternity with our Lord on November 11, 2021. She passed peacefully at Brian Center, Low Moor, Va.
She was born December 14, 1939, in Pettus, WV to the late John W. Reed and Ora Reed. Along with her parents she was preceded in the passing of her husband, William “Bill” Robinson, a daughter, Kathy Denise Robinson, all of her siblings, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
She is survived by two daughters, Margaret Susan Watson of WV and Bonnie G. Robinson (Steve) of Covington. Two grandsons, Seneca A. Haynes of Blacksburg, Va. And Van Houston Hall of Dunedin, FL, one sister in law Elaine Irvin.
During her working years in Covington, she was employed by Salterini, Halmode Apparel for several years. At the “empty nest” phase she and Bill became house parents for “Darling Cottage” Boys’ Home for five years. They then took management duties for Clifton Forge’s Clifton Woods Apartments for 23 years until a health condition left her disabled until her passing.
She was an avid gardener. Both flowers and vegetables, finding wonderful peace. Her families were very important to her. Being there when needed or just a wonderful visit.
A memorial service will be in the Bloom of Spring. A notice will be posted.
I would like to thank a few of her friends: Elaine, Phyllis, Margery, Sylvia, Minnie and Jody and so many more.
Thanks to everyone for food, cards, visits and most of all your love and prayers.
