The event, held as part of the ongoing 4th annual Citizens Police Academy, was held to demonstrate the Taser which the department acquired several months ago.
The demonstration was open to the public. Holding Ferris are Officers Tommy Deem, left, and Kameron Crowder.
Firing the Taser is Ossie Williams, an alumnae of the Citizen’s Police Academy.
Assisting her is Officer Kenny Duncan, Taser instructor.
Looking on, third from right, is Covington Police Chief J.B. Broughman, who also volunteered to be hit by the Taser.
