Granbery United Methodist Church
Granbery United Methodist Church, 425 W. Main St., Covington, will host a Passover Meal (Sedar) on Maundy Thursday at 6 p.m. The Rev. Barry Throckmorton will lead a ceremonial meal modeled after the traditional Sedar. Persons planning to attend are being requested to bring a covered-dish food. Persons planning to attend the meal should register by notifying the church office at 962-3911, so that enough elements can be prepared. Following the Passover Meal, the church will hold a Maundy Thursday Communion Service at 7 p.m.

Epworth United Methodist Church
Epworth United Methodist Church in Selma will hold a Maundy Thursday, Holy Communion and Service of Tenebrae at 6 p.m. The church is located at the corner of 11th and Richmond streets, across from the Selma Fire Department.

Central United Methodist Church
Central United Methodist Church in Clifton Forge will hold a Maundy Thursday Love Feast at 6:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall, followed by holy communion at 7 p.m.

Clifton Forge Presbyterian Church
Clifton Forge Presbyterian Church, 544 Church St., will hold a Maundy Thursday Service with soup and a sandwich at 6:30 p.m. The service will be held in the fellowship hall.

Covington Baptist Church
Covington Baptist Church will hold a Maundy Thursday service with communion at 6:30 p.m. The Rev. Chris Poluikis will preside. The church is located at 280 W. Riverside St., across from the WECCU Credit Union.

Christ United Methodist Church
Christ United Methodist Church, 200 E. Fudge St., Covington, will hold a Maundy Thursday Service at 7 p.m.

Low Moor Presbyterian Church
Low Moor Presbyterian Church will hold a Maundy Thursday Service at 7 p.m. The service will be held jointly with Mallow Presbyterian Church. The service will be led by the Revs. Gary and Lisa Marshall. Low Moor Presbyterian is located at 204 Old Church St., Low Moor.

Ashwood United Methodist Church
Ashwood United Methodist Church, 5674 Sam Snead Highway, Hot Springs, will conduct a Maundy Thursday Service at 7 p.m.

McAllister Memorial-First Presbyterian Churches
McAllister Memorial Presbyterian Church and First Presbyterian Church will hold a Maundy Thursday Service at 7 p.m. The service will be held at McAllister Memorial Presbyterian Church, 900 N. Alleghany Ave., Covington. The speaker will be the Rev. Jamie Pharr, pastor of First Presbyterian Church. The Lord’s Supper will be observed during the service.

Calvary Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)
Calvary Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Pond Avenue, Covington, will hold a Maundy Thursday Service at 7:30 p.m. The service will be a celebration of the Lord’s Supper and Tenebrae, which is Latin for shadows or darkness. The service will be a ceremony that progresses from light to darkness.
