CLIFTON FORGE, VA (VR) — Get ready to escape to the islands—no plane ticket required. The Key West Band returns to The Historic Masonic Theatre on Saturday, May 9 at 7:00 PM, delivering an unforgettable night of Trop-Rock that will have audiences swaying, singing, and smiling from start to finish.

One of America’s pioneering Trop-Rock bands, The Key West Band built a devoted following during its original run from 1993 to 2018, performing across twenty states and aboard three cruise ships. Now, after a powerful and emotional return in 2023 following the passing of Jimmy Buffett—the legendary “father of Trop-Rock”—the band is back and better than ever.

Responding to an outpouring of demand from fans and promoters alike, The Key West Band has reassembled with renewed energy and an expanded lineup. Drawing on long-standing connections with members of Jimmy Buffett’s famed Coral Reefer Band, the group has welcomed back familiar
collaborators along with standout performers from the broader Trop-Rock community. The result is a rich, authentic sound that captures the spirit and joy of Buffett’s music like no other.

Audiences can expect a lively setlist filled with beloved Jimmy Buffett classics alongside a selection of deeper cuts sure to delight even the most dedicated Parrotheads. As one of Buffett’s own club managers once remarked after seeing the band perform in Key West, “Nobody does Buffett as well as you guys.” It’s high praise—and one that fans quickly understand once the music begins.

Adding to the evening’s excitement, the performance will feature special guest musician, Doyle Grisham from Jimmy Buffett’s original band.

Whether you’re a lifelong Buffett fan or simply looking for a fun, feel-good night out, this is a concert experience not to be missed. Grab your friends, break out your beachwear, and join us for a musical getaway that will transport you straight to paradise.

Tickets are on sale now. Secure your seats today by purchasing online at www.historicmasonictheatre.com, or drop by the Theatre box office from 10 to 3 Tuesday through Friday. Visit the Theatre website to find out more information on upcoming shows and events.
