Covington Police Respond to Shooting on Holly Street in Covington

Covington, Va. (VR) – February 11, 2026 (6:54 PM) The Covington Division of Police is currently investigating a reported shooting in the 200 block of E. Holly Street. Officers responded to the call at approximately 6:54 p.m. Covington Police, along with the Alleghany Sheriff’s Office, are actively on scene. Preliminary investigation indicates this is an isolated incident, and there is no ongoing threat to public safety at this time. Authorities are asking anyone with information related to this incident to contact the Covington Division of Police at 540-965-6333 or email policeinfo@covington.va.us.
