SALEM – Jackie Corbitt Cook, 66, of Salem, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009 after battling liver cancer for the past 5 months.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 24 years, Katherine B. Cook; a son, Will Goodwin; a daughter and son-in-law, Christy and Jimmy Sutphin; a granddaughter, Casey Sutphin; sisters, brothers and their spouses, Jean and Jack Huffman, Glenna and Charles Harmon, Dorothy and Terry Thompson, Sue and Mike Kelly, Mike Cook, Wayne Cook and Renny Bowman.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Lotz Salem Chapel. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 p.m. this evening at the funeral home.
Arrangements are being handled by Lotz Funeral Home, Salem.
