Alleghany High School senior Grayson Siers (at left on first row) is working with Alleghany/Covington Child Protective Services on a stuffed-animal drive in January. The new stuffed animals will be given to CPS and law enforcement officers to give to children who may be experiencing anxiety during a crisis situation. Grayson is working with CPS and local businesses to establish drop-off locations throughout the Highlands. Each member of the AHS Class of 2024 is being required to complete a service-oriented learning project. It’s a great opportunity for seniors to show they care by giving back to their community.
