Sunday, January 7
Deputy Miller responded to a report of an activated burglar alarm on Springhouse Run.
Major Bryan III, Deputy Miller, and Deputy Bowles transported individual from the office to the hospital.
Deputy Miller responded on an animal control call on Dry Run Rd.
Deputy Colaw and Deputy Miller responded to a domestic dispute on Wilkinson Ave.
Monday, January 8
Deputy D. Smith assisted citizens with magistrate to obtain warrants for assault.
Lt. Grimm responded to a report of a vehicle accident on Cowpasture River Hwy.
Sgt. C. Smith responded to a report of a traffic hazard on Sam Snead Hwy.
Deputy Harlow arrested Jennifer Bursey on two arrest warrants, malicious bodily injury and assault on a family member. Harlow also
served 2 emergency protective orders and transported to Alleghany Regional Jail.
Tuesday, January 9
Deputy Harlow and Deputy Fix checked on a vehicle in the ditch on Sam Snead Hwy.
Deputy Harlow attempted to locate a vehicle in the ditch on McGraw Gap Rd.
Deputy D. Smith responded to an activated Burglar alarm on Sheep Meadow Rd.
Deputy D. Smith and Deputy McRoberts assisted a disabled motorist on Talbotts Lane.
Deputies responded to numerous reports of flooding throughout the county.
Sgt. C. Smith responded to a report of a vehicle accident on Mill Creek Rd.
Deputy Harlow conducted a traffic stop on Mountain Valley Rd.
Wednesday, January 10
Deputy Harlow assisted with a disabled tractor and trailer on Mountain Valley Rd.
Deputy Harlow conducted a traffic stop on Mountain Valley Rd.
Lt Grimm responded to a report of a tree blocking the road on Dry Run Rd.
Sheriff Plecker, Deputy T. Plecker and Virginia State Police responded to a report of an overturned log truck on Sam Snead Hwy.
Deputy Altizer and Deputy Miller conducted a well-being check on Memory Lane.
Thursday, January 11
Deputy Bryan IV and Deputy Miller assisted with a rescue call on Lily’s Lane.
Lt. Grimm and Deputy Miller responded to a report of a larceny at a business on Main Street, Hot Springs.
Deputy Altizer assisted Virginia State Police on a traffic stop on Mountain Valley Rd.

Deputy Harlow conducted a traffic stop on Main Street, Hot Springs.
Saturday, January 13
Sgt. C. Smith responded to a report of a utility line down on Sam Snead Hwy.
Deputy Harlow conducted multiple traffic stops on Sam Snead Hwy.
Deputy Harlow conducted a traffic stop on Mountain Valley Rd.
