Mountain Gateway Community College’s new Career Center hosted its very first employer December 11 with Angella Nicely ( left), Recruiting Manager, Sourcing Specialist for the Omni Homestead Hotel and Resort, on hand at Warren Hall on the MGCC Clifton Forge campus to speak with students about job possibilities at the resort, located in Hot Springs. Greeting Nicely were Kylie Hendrickson (center), MGCC FastForward Career Coach, and Rob Cantrell, MGCC Career Center Coordinator. Cantrell said this will be the first of many area employers who will be on campus to talk to prospective employees, and Omni plans to return monthly, with their next visit scheduled for Monday, January 22, 2024, from 10 am to 3 pm in Warren Hall.
