BUCHANAN – Make it back-to-back wins for Bath County (2-3).

After an 0-3 start to their season in which the team played all three games close and lost by a combined 17 points, the Chargers are now hitting their win-stride following a 44-41 win on the road last Wednesday over James River in Buchanan.

Down a point with less than five seconds remaining, Isaac Ingram put Bath County in front 42-41.

Andrew Turner, much like he would do on the football field, intercepted a pass and drew the foul where he would go on to knock down a pair of free throws to help seal the victory for the Chargers.

Ingram led all scorers with a game-high 20 points, while Luke Turner added 14.

The Chargers avenged a loss to the Knights from the weekend before where they had lost 57-55 at the Riverheads tournament.
