Clifton Forge Main Street- Clifton Forge Town Hall – We will begin our community celebrations in Clifton Forge with an official lighting of the Town Christmas Tree. Beginning at 5 pm, Blow N Smoke will have barbecue, pork sandwiches, apple dumplings and other refreshments for sale. You can even purchase a beautiful Christmas Tree or wreath from McDowell Farms. Festive dance performances by Garlynda’s Fancy Feet, A1 Studio, and Cora Dance will begin at 6 pm followed by a sing-along with the Immanuel Baptist Church choir to some classic Christmas carols. Then watch as our special guest lights our town tree. Be sure to bring the kids by Santa’s booth for a visit and picture! There will also be a mailbox on hand for letters to the North Pole. If you include your return address, Santa may just write back!

Clifton Forge Annual Christmas Parade – Clifton Forge Main Street, Inc. invites you to be a participant or a spectator in our 2023 Christmas Parade. This year we would like to pay tribute to all those real or fictional who have made Christmas so special by choosing “Favorite Christmas Characters” as our theme. As in past years, the parade will begin at the intersection of Ridgeway and Roxbury Streets and continue down Ridgeway Street through the historic district to the Clifton Forge Fire Station on D Street. Nice trophies will be given out for best religious float, best private and public vehicles, best marching unit, best dance entry, best clogging entry, most creative entry, best animal float, best overall float and judges favorite.
