The members of Pine Street Baptist Church celebrated the 45th birthday of their pastor, the Rev. R.D. Jenkins Sr., along with several members of the community at large.
Church members expressed their appreciation to all of the participants that took part in the parade, to Roger Patterson for his service to Covington Police Chief Chris Smith for his telephone call and personal birthday wishes, along with participants representing the Covington Fire Department and Rescue Squad.
As Rev. Jenkins said during his morning message the next day, “People aren’t always kind and when they are they don’t have to be kind to you.”
