Camp ACCOVAC will host a family camp weekend retreat on October 13, 14 and 15, 2023. The theme is “The Bible, God’s Word, Yesterday, Today and Forever”.
The speakers will be Heath Simpson, the Pastor of Mechanicsville Advent Christian Church, Gene Ayers from the Central Advent Christian Church, TG Ayers from Roanoke Community Advent Christian Church and Dallas Reynolds from Horeb Baptist Church, Millboro.
The weekend will begin with a spaghetti supper at 6 p.m. on Friday and will conclude after lunch on Sunday. The schedule for chapel services will be Friday 7:30 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. and Sunday at 11 a.m. Bible classes for all ages will be at 10 a.m. on Sunday.
Special music will be performed. Activities for the weekend will include hiking, fishing, outdoor games, pumpkin carving, scavenger hunt and campfire with marshmallow roasting and more.
