Abraham Lincoln Ingram, Jr.
Abraham Lincoln Ingram, Jr., age 77, of 30864 Mountain Valley Road, Millboro, Virginia died Sunday, September 10, 2023, at Augusta Medical Center in Fishersville.
He was born July 19, 1946, in Bath County to the late Abraham Lincoln Ingram, Sr. and Nefor Randozzo Ingram. He was a retired Equipment Technician for Stella Jones, Inc. and also worked for VDOT for a number of years. He was a people person and a family man. He was a member of Green Valley Church and loved hunting.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, George William Ingram and Robert Thomas Ingram, and a son-in-law, Kenneth Liptrap.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Rosa Lee Landrum Ingram; his children, David Ingram and wife Teresa of Millboro, Abraham “Linkie” Ingram III and wife Monique of Millboro, and Lorie Baldwin and husband Ricky of Warm Springs; a twin brother, Guy T. Ingram; seven grandchildren, Kenny Ingram, Samantha Ricketts and husband Tommy, Toby Ingram, Jessica Ingram, Britney Via and husband Trey, Brenna Baldwin, and Hunter Baldwin; two great-grandchildren, Rose Ricketts and Sky Ricketts; and his dog “Happy”.
In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Pastor Bill Gram officiating. Interment will be made privately in Calvary Memorial Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at Nicely Funeral Home.
