Saturday, August 26 at 8 p.m. Nashville Recording Artists Wilson Fairchild will be returning to the RiverRock Amphitheatre located at the Jackson River Sport Complex.
Wil and Langdon Reid are carrying on their fathers’ Country Music Hall of Fame Legacy! Whether they are telling a story, singing one of their own songs or one of the Statler Brothers’ Songs you are sure to enjoy! It’s been said if you just close your eyes and listen you could not tell it’s not their fathers on stage. Wil and Langdon come from the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia and have spent their whole lives together performing and playing music as well as writing songs. They are determined to keep country music alive and you certainly will be amazed at their singing talent and their entertaining abilities. Their song titled “The Statler Brothers Song” which they wrote as a tribute to the former country group is sure to be performed and just to hear them perform that makes the evening worthwhile.
Concerts like this one are one of a kind and it is taking place right here in Covington and is free to the public.
Special guest band that evening is the very talented New Standard Bluegrass Band. They will be performing from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
