Easterly, Savage Tie For Medalist

HOT SPRINGS — Natalie Easterly and Shelley Savage both shot even-par 72 Monday to lead qualifying at the Virginia State Golf Association Women’s Senior Amateur on The Omni Homestead’s Old Course.
Easterly, representing the Country Club of Virginia in Richmond, and Savage, from the Army Navy Country Club in Arlington, led the championship flight into Round of 16 match play this morning.
The championship match is scheduled for Friday morning at 8 a.m.
Defending champion Mimi Hoffman, of Springfield, qualified for the championship flight with a 2-over-par 74.
