Richmond, VA, Prospective students are invited to participate in Virginia Private College Week from July 17 – 22, hosted by the Council of Independent Colleges in Virginia (CICV).
Colleges will offer campus tours and information sessions about academic programs, admissions, financial aid, and student life. College officials will also address some of the common myths about the cost of a private college education. “Visiting campuses in person is one of the most important steps in the college search process,” explains Chris Peace, President of CICV. “I encourage parents to explore which college will be the best fit for their son or daughter, and I want to reassure them that a quality education at a Virginia private college is affordable and within reach.”
All students who participate in Private College Week will be entered in a drawing to win one of five $100 Amazon gift cards. The more colleges students visit, the better their chances of being selected for a gift card that can be used to help with college expenses.
Sessions will be held in both the morning and afternoon, Monday through Friday, and at 9 a.m. on Saturday. For more information about CICV and Virginia Private College Week visit www.vaprivatecolleges.org or https://bit.ly/VPCW2023 .
