HOT SPRINGS, VA – The Narrows Green Wave used three pitchers to combine for a one-hit 14-0 Pioneer District road victory over the Bath County Chargers (2-9last Thursday.
Aiden McGlothin (1-for-3) had a big day at the plate with six RBIs to lead the Green Wave past the Chargers. The Green Wave had four players win two or more RBIs each. As the Green Waves produced a dozen hits in the win, none were louder than Max McGlothlin (2-for-5) who had a solo home run over left field fence.
The trio of Brody Robertson (1-for-2) Max McGlothin, and Sam Albert (1-for-4) at one point retired 11 batters during a 12-batters stretch.
Isaac Ingram (1-for-2) had the lone hit for the Chargers which came in the bottom of the third inning and one out. Cooper Lowry (L/0for-2) suffered the loss on the mound for the Chargers.
The Chargers played at Parry McCluer on Monday and will be at Covington on Tuesday.
