WestRock’s Covington Mill supports Kids’ Fishing Day on April 15

COVINGTON, Va. (VR) – The Covington mill recently donated to Alleghany County’s Parks and Recreation department in support of Kids’ Fishing Day. This was the 33rd consecutive year that Alleghany Highlands youth had the opportunity to enjoy fishing, spending time with family and participating in an outdoor activity that they will, hopefully, continue to pursue and enjoy for the rest of their lives.

Kids’ Fishing Day was held April 15 at Boys Home and is a joint venture between the Parks and Recreation Department and the U.S. Forest Service – James River Ranger District.
