Joseph Ellis Graham
Mr. Joseph Ellis Graham, 85, of Cline Meadow Road, Covington died Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at the residence of his daughter. He was the husband of Ramona Vance Graham.
Mr. Graham was born December 20, 1937, a son of the late John McKinley Graham and Thelma Bennett Graham. He was of the Presbyterian faith and served his country with the U. S. Army as a demolitions expert. Joe was the owner and operator of Covington Sewer and Water Company for many years.
Mr. Graham is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ramona Vance Graham; one son, Joseph Ellis Graham Jr.; one daughter, Karen Graham Eliades; two sisters, Rosalee G. Martin of Low Moor and Joyce G. Roberts and husband, Stuart of Covington; three grandchildren, Corinne Elizabeth Graham, Graham Alexander Eliades, and Alaina Mae Eliades; a special cousin/brother, William (Bill) Graham; five sisters–in–law and four brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at 3:00 p. m. from the Chapel of Loving Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Rose officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service.
