George R. Riner, 97, of Hot Springs, Virginia passed away Monday, September 21, 2020 at the Springs Nursing Center in Hot Springs, Va.
He was born September 8, 1923 in Bath County, the son of the late Henry and Maggie Riner.
George formally managed Riner’s Service Station.
He was a member and organ player at Hot Springs Presbyterian Church, and he also enjoyed cooking.
George is survived by a nephew Duke Riner; 3 great nieces, Lisa Robertson Perry, Autumn Riner, and Laurie Riner; and 3 great nephews, Norman Robertson, Craig Robertson, and Scott Robertson.
He was preceded in death by his numerous siblings.
A memorial service will be conducted at October 4, 2020 at 2:00 at graveside at Warm Springs Cemetery with John Young officiating.
