Search efforts are continuing Tuesday (Feb. 28) by Virginia Department of Emergency Management (VDEM) and Virginia State Police personnel for an aircraft that is overdue for arrival at the Burlington Alamance Regional Aircraft in North Carolina. The small, privately-owned plane departed the Hillsville-Twin County Airport in Virginia Monday (Feb. 27) afternoon. Search efforts began near the Carroll County and Patrick County line Monday evening, and resumed by air and on the ground Tuesday morning at daybreak.Â
