Born July 29, 1938, in Covington, Treva was a daughter of the late Blanton Lawrence and Frances Mildred Craft Tingler.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Harold; a sister, Mildred Tingler; and a grandaughter, Jessica Victoria Correa.
She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Correa of White Sulphur Springs, W.Va.; her son and daughter-in-law, Harold “Dean” and Teresa of Roanoke; grandchildren, Whitney and Evan Correa and Hunter Weikel, Esq.
She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Pat Tingler of White Sulphur Springs, W.Va.; and her sister and brother-in-law, Mona and Charlie Workman of Clintonville; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends.
She was a graduate of New Castle High School in New Castle, class of 1955.
She worked at the Bank of White Sulphur Springs, which later became First Citizens Bank, with 20 plus years of service.
After her retirement in 1999, she and Harold enjoyed traveling around on the hunt in antique stores for that “perfect” flower frog.
She was of the Methodist faith and attended Emmanuel United Methodist Church in earlier years.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, Jan. 16, at 3 p.m. at the Paint Bank Community Cemetery in Paint Bank, with the Rev. Melissa Shortridge officiating.
In lieu of flowers, Treva would be proud if people would make contributions to Greenbrier County Animal Shelter, 151 Holliday Lane, Lewisburg, W.Va. 24901.
We will be following all guidelines as set out by State and County officials due to COVID-19.
