ODENTON, Md. — Reginald Lowman Howard, currently of Odenton, Md., passed away suddenly Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021, at his home. He was 82.
Reginald was born July 23, 1938, in Clifton Forge, and was the son of the late Rupert Howard and Edna (nee Douglas) Howard.
After a 37 year career at the National Security Agency, Reginald loved collecting sports memorabilia and coins.
Also, he was an avid golfer, soap opera watcher, world traveler and shopper extraordinaire.
Reginald is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Patricia Hill Howard of Odenton, Md.; four beloved daughters, Teri McElwee (Rick) of Trinity, N.C., Kelly Meyers (Scott) of Odenton, Md., Stacie Anuszkiewicz (Dennis) of Myrtle Beach, S.C. and Tracie Howard of Odenton, Md.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Rupert (Sonny) and Richard; and sister, Ann.
He is also survived by devoted sisters, Janie DeWitt and Joyce McCool of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; caring brother, Doug Howard of Salem; five cherished grandchildren, Brad (Lauren), Sarah, Haleigh (Jake), Conner and Trent; four adoring greatgrandchildren, Flynn, Grady, Judah and Sebastian.
All services will be private.
