On Saturday, September 24th at the Jackson River Sports Complex (JRSC), Highlands Community Bank will be holding their 20th Anniversary Celebration.
As part of the celebration, they will hold various events at the JRSC, including a 3-on-3 kids basketball tournament as well as a cornhole tournament.
The 3-on-3 basketball tournament will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
The tournament will split teams into two playing groups, which will allow each team to play against one another in their group in order to advance. This is better known as a round robin. Following that will be seeded bracket play.
To balance out the groups, there will be an age group range that consists of four players per team. The tournament age range is from boys and girls ages 18 and under and the groups will be; 5th and 6th grade, 7th and 8th grade, 9th and 10th grade, and 11th and 12th grade.
The tournament is free to enter for all teams and the deadline to register is on September 20th.

And to top it all, there will also be a prize to the winners!
First and second place in each division will win prize money. First place will receive $300.00, while second place in each division will receive $150.00
Meanwhile, the cornhole tournament will begin just prior the basketball tournament at 3:00 p.m.
Teams can register for a chance to win $2,000.00.
Registration will be on-going, including the day of the event and can be done so at the large picnic shelter which is located near the baseball fields.
