The Alleghany Highlands Chamber of Commerce & Tourism held a “Meet and Greet” at Boys Home of Virginia for Chris Doyle, the new executive director, on Wed., July 13.
Coyle and Katherine, his wife, were on hand to share a light lunch with those in attendance.
Boy’s Home of Virginia was founded by the Episcopal Church in 1906 in Covington as an old-fashioned orphanage that currently is operating as a residential educational facility.
The Episcopal Church is part of the Diocese of Southern Virginia.
Teresa Hammond, executive director of the chamber, and Pam Warren, an employee of the chamber, were on hand to conduct the “Meet and Greet” that was held from 11:30 a.m. till 1:30 p.m.
