Ruth Clemson Woods Lett of Dallas Texas died Thursday, June 9, 2022. She was born on January 6, 1939, to the late Ruth Bernard Woods and Robert Clemson Woods of Covington. She was a 1956 graduate of Covington High School and a 1960 graduate of the College of William and Mary of Williamsburg, Virginia. She lived her entire adult life in Dallas. She is survived by her husband, S.G. (Sam) Lett Jr., sons S.G. (Bo and Karen) Lett, R.W. (Bobby and Laura) Lett, B.T. (Ben and Beaumont) Lett, and W.C. (Billy) Lett. 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and the 4th due in August. Sister Becky Woods (Chuck) Woodson of Covington. Cousins, nieces and nephews. R.C. (Rob and Steph) Woodson and Dr. J.V. (Jayme) Woodson. She was very active in the Good Shepard Episcopal Church in Dallas. She served on the Altar Guild for over 50 years. She loved her beautiful flowers which she planted over 400 caladium bulbs yearly and many other flowers from her greenhouse. The funeral service will be at Good Shepard Episcopal Church.
