The VTCP (Vandelia Tracy Carter Pettus) Family Foundation recently made a donation to HOPE, Inc (Helping Other People Excel, Inc.) The donation was for the operations of the program, as well as to provide supportive services for clients served by the organization. The VTCP Family Foundation is overseen by the daughters of the late Mrs. Vandelia Pettus, who owned and operated the first African American Florist in the city of Covington. Dr. Cynthia V. Carter and Mrs. Darlene Smith are grateful that they can honor the legacy of their mother by providing support for organizations who are helping others.
