November 7, 1977- Clifton Forge's Les Tinsley catches a pass for good yardage and Covington's Donnell Ross makes the tackle during the Little Brown Jug football game Saturday night at Memorial Park in Clifton Forge. The prolonged rain stopped long enough for the game to be played and Covington kept possession of the jug by roaring to a 36-0 halftime lead and going on to win 42-6. Photo: Virginian Review

The DSLCC Roadrunners Men’s road basketball game on Tuesday night against Washington and Lee University was cancelled.

There will be no makeup date for the game.

Follow the cancelation of their Tuesday game, the Roadrunners are now left with only two games remaining in the regular season.

The team will play in North Carolina on Saturday against Sandhills Community College at 1:00 p.m.

The regular season for the Roadrunners will wrap up on Tuesday, February 15 at home against Hosanna College.

The Roadrunners have lost 11 of their last 13 games.

In the middle of December 2021, the team had a record of 9-3 following a five-game winning streak. Now, the Roadrunners record sits at 11-13.

With two games left before the playoffs, the team has a chance to end the regular season on a high note and an even .500 record.
