01/03/2022 Dep. Harlow responded to a traffic accident on Sam Snead Highway in Hot Springs.

01/03/2022 Dep. Harlow performed additional patrols near Millboro Elementary School.

01/03/2022 Major Bryan III responded to a report of an unresponsive individual on McGraw Gap Rd.

01/03/2022 Sgt. Johnson assisted with a disabled vehicle on Jackson River Rd.

01/04/2022 Dep. Bryan IV and Dep. Colaw responded to Jackson River Turnpike for a report of a domestic dispute. Dep. Bryan IV arrested Joshua Horn for malicious assault and served a capias from Waynesboro and transported him to Alleghany Regional Jail.

01/05/2022 Dep. T. Plecker and Dep. T. Randozzo responded to assist a disabled tractor-trailer on Mountain Valley Rd. in Millboro.

01/05/2022 Dep. Altizer served a capias on Lelea Lewis at Bath County General District Court.

01/05/2022 Dep. Altizer and Virginia State Police attempted to perform a well-being check on Tunnel Hill Rd.

01/05/2022 Dep. D. Smith and Dep. Altizer responded to a report of a gas drive-off at Oak Ridge Station.

01/05/2022 Dep. Miller served a protective order on a citizen.

01/05/2022 Sgt. C. Smith and Dep. Miller conducted a well-being check on Paul Siple Drive.

01/05/2022 Sgt. C. Smith, Dep. Miller and Dep. D. Smith arrested Robert A. Hickman for sexual battery.

01/06/2022 Lt. Grimm and Capt. Weaver responded to a tree down on Mountain Valley Rd. near Stagecoach Dr.

01/06/2022 Dep. D. Smith responded to a report of possible animal abuse in the Thomastown area.

01/08/2022 Dep. Harlow removed a deer carcass from Sam Snead Hwy.

01/08/2022 Dep. Harlow provided traffic control for a disabled truck on Main Street in the Pinehurst Heights area.

01/08/2022 Dep. Harlow unlocked a vehicle on the Jackson River Turnpike.

01/08/2022 Dep. Colaw and Dep. Harlow responded to assist a motorist on Meadows Dr.

01/08/2022 Dep. Harlow assisted a citizen on Sam Snead Highway.

01/08/2022 Dep. Bryan conducted a business check in the Millboro area.

Bath County Sheriff’s Office dispatch answered 301 incoming calls and made 114 outbound calls.

29,446 Hours worked by deputies. 14,375 Hours worked by dispatchers. 43;821 Total hours worked by BCSO Staff

212,923 miles driven while providing law enforcement for Bath County.

1031 Civil papers served by Deputies, 376 of which were summons.

Made 249 criminal arrests for the year.

119 Criminal investigations with a clearance rate of 79.8%

217 Transports with a total mileage of 12,447.

15,906 total calls received by our office. 2549 emergency 911 calls. 502 EMS calls received.

15 ECO/TDO for the year requiring 407 total hours of security. 1379 miles of transports

903 Business check and neighborhood patrol cards left. Performed 24 funeral escorts.

Unlocked 128 vehicles.
