It had been a week since the last time the Bath County chargers varsity volleyball team stepped out on the court for in-game competition.
On Monday night, the team was shut out in three sets to the Narrows Greenwaves.
It was the Chargers second loss in a row as the team fell to 1-5 overall on the season.
The last time out on the court, the team lost on the road to Buffalo Gap in straight sets.
The Greenwaves remained undefeated with their seventh win a row to start the season. Add in another victory for the team on Tuesday night as well, a win over Parry McCluer to give the Greenwaves an 8-0 start to the season.
