WARM SPRINGS – These calls for service were made to the Bath County Sheriff’s Off-ice the week of March 18-24:

March 18: Dep. C. Smith unlocked a vehicle on Coles Mountain Road.

March 18: Dep. C. Smith responded to report of shoplifting at Fastbreak.

March 18: Dep. C. Smith conducted a well-being check on a subject in Healing Springs. The officer requested response from the rescue squad.

March 18: Deputy Chestnut spoke with a subject about custody issues.

March 18: Deputy Chestnut spoke with a female about threatening calls. Advice was given and no trespass notices were obtained.

March 19: Dep. C. Smith and Virginia State Police responded to a report of a break-in at a residence in the Bacova area.

March 19: Dep. C. Smith fingerprinted a subject for a concealed handgun permit.

March 19: Dep. C. Smith responded to a noise disturbance in the courthouse.

March 19: Dep. C. Smith fingerprinted a subject for employment purposes.

March 19: Deputy Chestnut spoke with a subject about custody issues. The officer spoke with both parties and offered advice.

March 19: Deputy Chestnut spoke with a subject in reference to trespassers.

March 19: Deputy Chestnut responded to a residence in Bacova and spoke with a subject who was having problems getting belongings from a family member.

March 19: Sheriff Plecker assisted the rescue squad on a call to Klondike Drive and also transported the patient from the hospital back to the residence.

March 20: Major Bryan and Dep. C. Smith responded to Millboro to attempt to locate a wanted subject. They were unable to locate the subject.

March 20: Dep. C. Smith assisted a disabled motorist on Sam Snead Highway.

March 20: Deputy Chestnut responded to a report of tree limb down on Muddy Run Road. The officer removed the limb.

March 21: Captain Weaver fingerprinted a subject.

March 21: Dep. C. Smith responded to a gas drive-off at Fastbreak.

March 21: Sheriff Plecker spoke with a subject about receiving threatening phone calls.

March 21: Captain Weaver spoke with a subject about trespassers and also items being stolen from the property.

March 22: Sgt. Cutlip responded to an activated burglar alarm at a business in Mitchelltown.

March 22: Sgt. Cutlip checked on a suspicious vehicle that was parked at a business in Warm Springs.

March 22: Dep. C. Smith fingerprinted a subject for employment purposes.

March 22: Captain Weaver spoke with a subject about obtaining trespass notices.

March 22: Sgt. Cutlip responded to the Cedar Creek area where a subject was receiving harassing phone calls and requested that the sheriff’s office patrol the area.

March 22: Sgt. Cutlip responded to a report of a disabled motorist in Warm Springs. The officer was unable to locate the vehicle.

March 23: Captain Weaver responded to an activated carbon monoxide alarm at a residence in Dunns Gap.

March 23: Captain Weaver responded to Oak Ridge Service Station for a disturbance.

March 23: Sgt. Cutlip assisted a subject with obtaining belongings off of a property in Millboro.

March 23: Sheriff Plecker, Captain Weaver and Virginia State Police responded to a report of a vehicle accident on Rocky Ridge.

March 23: Deputy Chestnut responded to a vehicle that was in the ditch in Warm Springs. A wrecker service was contacted by the owner of the vehicle.

March 23: Sgt. Cutlip responded to a report of a disturbance in Hot Springs.

March 24: Sgt. Cutlip responded to a 911 hang-up call from residence in Mountain Grove. The officer advised that everything was OK at the residence.

March 24: Major Bryan spoke with a subject about a possible scam.

March 24: Major Bryan assisted subjects with the video magistrate. An assault warrant and protective order were issued by the magistrate.

March 24: Sgt. Cutlip arrested a subject on an assault warrant.

March 24: Sgt. Cutlip and Virginia State Police assisted a disabled motorist on Warm Springs Mountain.

March 24: Sgt. Cutlip and Virginia State Police responded to a suspicious vehicle parked on Old Dairy Road. Officers spoke with the owner, and they left the area.
