The Shadow
The following government services and offices will be closed in observance of Lee-Jackson Day and Martin Luther King Day:
– The Alleghany County-Covington Health Department will be closed Friday and Monday;
– The offices of the Alleghany County Treasurer and Commissioner of the Revenue will be closed Friday and Monday;
– The Virginia Workforce Center will be closed Friday and Monday;
– The Alleghany County-Covington Department of Social Services will be closed Friday and Monday;
– Alleghany County offices located in the Alleghany County Governmental Complex will be closed Monday;
– The Island Ford Transfer Station will be open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Monday.
