CLIFTON FORGE, VA (VR) – Get ready for a little holiday magic when the Barter Players bring “Frosty” to The Historic Masonic Theatre on Sunday, November 8 at 3:00 p.m. Thanks to generous sponsorship from the Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation and the John Grimes Family Foundation, admission is free, making this a perfect afternoon of live theatre for families and children of all ages.

In this delightful musical adventure, a young orphan named Billy discovers a magical hat—and when heplaces it on a snowman’s head, Frosty comes to life! Together, Billy and Frosty set off on a thrilling journey through New York City as they search for Billy’s family before Christmas. Along the way, they discover that the greatest magic of the season may be found in love, friendship and family.

For more than 30 years, the Barter Players, the touring company of Barter Theatre, have brought high- energy, professional theatre to young audiences across the country. Their spirited performances, imaginative storytelling and larger-than-life characters captivate children while giving adults plenty to enjoy, too.

Bring the entire family and share the magic of live theatre this holiday season! Mark your calendar for Sunday, November 8 at 3:00 p.m. and join Frosty, Billy and the Barter Players for a joyful adventure at The Historic Masonic Theatre.

PIERCE, ID. (VR) - The 2026 U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree was harvested Saturday, October 24, from Musselshell Meadow in Idaho's Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests.
The 76-foot Engelmann spruce was carefully lifted onto a transport trailer as forest personnel assisted with preparations for its departure. The tree will travel more than 2,500 miles before arriving at its destination on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C.
Several businesses provided support for the harvesting and transportation process, including Kenworth, Holcomb Crane, Hale Trailer, Verizon, Bennett Lumber and Idaho Forest Group. (Forest Service) Photo by Preston Keres
