Alleghany Highlands Public Schools Closed Tuesday October 27, 2026

LOW MOOR, Va. (VR) – “All schools will be closed on Tuesday, October 27, due to a potential concern brought to our attention this evening by law enforcement relating to the safety of our school buildings and facilities. This decision has been made out of an abundance of caution, with the safety of our students and staff as our top priority. We will continue to work with law enforcement authorities, and we appreciate their work as information evolves.”
