COVINGTON, Va. (VR) – Alleghany High School freshman golfer Jagger Rowland has been named to the First Team All-Shenandoah District following a strong season on the course. Rowland was a consistent contributor for the Cougars throughout the season, helping Alleghany compete against some of the district’s top teams.
The freshman turned in several strong individual rounds during the season, including a 36 at The Homestead’s Old Course in a match against Bath County. Rowland also recorded an 81 during the Shenandoah District Big Four tournament at Ingleside Resort.
