COVINGTON, VA (VR) – Car enthusiasts, families, and community members are invited to downtown Covington for the 48th Annual Streetscene, hosted by KARS Unlimited, on Friday, August 7, and Saturday, August 8, 2026. The two-day event promises classic cars, live entertainment, family activities, vendors, food, raffles, and more.
The festivities begin on Friday, August 7, with the Pre-Streetscene Party from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the River Rock Amphitheater. The evening will feature a Cruise-In and live music from recording artist Maggie Baugh, offering a great way to kick off the weekend.
The main Streetscene event takes place on Saturday, August 8, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Visitors can enjoy an impressive display of vehicles, as the show is open to all vehicle types. Throughout the day, attendees can participate in a 50/50 drawing, a special drawing for Streetscene jackets, and cash drawings for entrants who bring show cars.
Families will find plenty to enjoy with games and activities for kids, a live DJ, entertainment throughout the day, and a variety of food vendors, merchandise vendors, and door prizes.
Saturday evening continues the excitement with Saturday Night Streetscene from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The evening includes two raffles, with the first raffle offering the winner a choice between $500 cash or a Holley carburetor. The second raffle features a two-night stay at Meadow View Cabin at Big Ridge.
The weekend concludes with a free concert at the River Rock Amphitheater, featuring Buddy Allen + Cheat River, providing the perfect finale to one of the area’s premier automotive events.
