PUBLIC COMMENT:
VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (VDOT) UPDATE:
Ms. Susan Hammond, VDOT Resident Engineer – Update.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
A replacement needs to be made for Mr. Jason Helmintoller on the Social Services Board with a term to begin July 1, 2026 and expiring June 30, 2030. This appointment can be from any district.
NEW BUSINESS:
Discuss school system request regarding 1% sales tax option for school capital projects.
Discuss and consider supplemental appropriation in FY27 (SERCAP grant).
Appointment of Mr. David Oliver (Falling Spring District) to the Alleghany Highlands Economic Development Corporation Board as the 4th alternating member. The term would begin immediately and end June 30, 2028.
