Barron Leads Alleghany Girls at Valley Cup

FISHERSVILLE, Va. (VR) –  Alleghany competed in the Valley Cup on Tuesday, with Faith Barron leading the Cougars’ girls team with an eighth-place finish. Barron completed the course in 13:16.83, finishing ahead of Maggie Hensley, who placed 20th in 14:26.76.

Willow Morgan finished 36th in 15:28.64, followed by Maddie Via in 45th at 15:59.41 and Adrienne Downs in 47th at 16:00.20. Annebelle Williams placed 49th in 16:07.99, Charlotte Taylor was 54th in 16:16.89 and Kaylee Snook finished 57th in 16:27.69.

Cole Bowser paced the Alleghany boys, placing 39th in 11:57.21. Maddox Hale finished 47th in 16:06.25 and Levi Bartley finished 49th in 12:10.42.

Lincoln Rosales was 73rd in 12:55.99, followed closely by Nolan Rosales in 74th at 12:56.08. Braedon Lemons placed 81st in 13:10.08, Carter Wyatt was 87th in 13:25.11 and Levi Wilkerson finished 103rd in 14:02.88. Maddox Hale also competed for the Cougars, finishing 47th in 16:06.25.

In the boys open individual race, Everett Craft placed 32nd in 14:11.9, while Jacob Graham finished 55th in 15:31.3.
