The Lumberjacks held that lead through four innings before the game turned in the fifth. The Rebels erupted for 10 runs in the frame and added two more in the seventh to pull away.

The Lumberjacks added three runs in the ninth inning but could not overcome the deficit. Luis Acosta paced the offense, going 3-for-4 with two runs scored and a stolen base. Caleb Miele reached base three times via walks and scored three runs. Luca Mendez finished with a double, one hit, two RBIs and two runs scored, while Jadyn Perez drove in two runs and added a sacrifice fly.

Ray Yero scored once, drove in a run and stole two bases. Grant Smith and Bryant Zayas each collected an RBI, while Smith added a hit. Deundre Jones recorded a hit and scored a run in his lone at-bat. Covington finished with seven RBIs, highlighted by two from Mendez and two from Perez.
