LEWISBURG, WV (VR) — The Greenbrier Valley Airport is excited to welcome the community to the inaugural Wings & Wheels 2026, a full day of aviation, automobiles, family fun, and live entertainment on Saturday, June 13, 2026.

The event will be held at Greenbrier Valley Airport with show car and aircraft registration taking place from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Gates will open to the public from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Wings & Wheels 2026 will feature a wide variety of classic cars, custom vehicles, and aircraft displays, including a planned all-day static display of a C-130 aircraft expected to arrive by 9:00 AM. Attendees will also have the opportunity to enjoy tower tours throughout the day as can be accommodated by the airport tower crew.

The event will include live entertainment all afternoon, beginning with a live broadcast featuring Jeff Campbell and Buddy Bear from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by live bands performing from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Families attending the event can enjoy free bouncy houses and face painting, while food trucks will be on site throughout the day offering a variety of food and refreshments.

Awards and prizes will be presented for judged cars and aircraft entries, and attendees can also participate in several charitable raffles benefiting Peyton Hospice House. HealthNet Aeromedical Services will raffle off a ride in their helicopter, and RIPCO has generously sponsored a raffle for a Yeti cooler, with all proceeds from both raffles supporting Peyton Hospice House.

Marshall University Aviation will also be participating with an informational tent during the event.

Admission to Wings & Wheels 2026 is $10 per person, and children 12 and under are admitted free. Parking for the event will also be free.

This year’s event is being held in honor of Bill O’Brien. The O’Brien family’s generous support and sponsorship have played a major role in helping launch Wings & Wheels 2026 and bring this new community event to life. Their commitment to supporting both the airport and the community has helped make this inaugural event possible.

“We are proud to serve as the community’s airport and are excited to host this first-ever Wings & Wheels event for our region,” said Martha Livesay, Airport Director at Greenbrier Valley Airport. “Our community has really shown up for us in support of this event, and we are incredibly grateful. The response from our sponsors, volunteers, participants, and local organizations has been tremendous. We encourage everyone attending to take notice of the

sponsor banners displayed throughout the event because their generosity and support are truly the reason this event was able to take off.”

All net proceeds from Wings & Wheels 2026 will benefit Peyton Hospice House.
