Covington Lumberjacks Set to Begin 2026 Campaign on the Road

Covington struggled against Staunton during the 2025 season, finishing just 2-6 against the Braves. Staunton finished last season 24-16 and placed second, Covington went 15-22 and placed third in the South division. The Lumberjacks will look to turn the page quickly as they begin a new season under the lights on opening night.

The matchup marks the first of several early-season tests for Covington as the club looks to establish momentum heading into the summer schedule.

The Lumberjacks will make their home debut on Saturday, May 30, when the Waynesboro Generals visit Casey Field. First pitch for the home opener is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
