The Shadow
The Hall of Fame honors former athletes from both Covington and Alleghany high schools who made significant contributions to their respective athletic programs.
To be eligible for induction, former athletes must have graduated at least 10 years ago, demonstrated outstanding athletic ability during their high school careers and maintained a respected standing within the community.
This year’s inductees were recognized for their athletic accomplishments, dedication, determination and sportsmanship, both on and off the field.
The Hall of Fame serves to preserve the athletic history of both schools while recognizing individuals whose achievements helped build the foundation for future generations of student-athletes.
The annual recognition also provides an opportunity for the Alleghany Highlands community to celebrate the accomplishments and lasting contributions of former Covington and Alleghany athletes.
