Grief Support Session at First Christian Church in Covington on Tuesday, April 28

COVINGTON, VA. (VR) –   A grief support session, sponsored by Connection Plus Healthcare + Hospice, will be held April 28, 2026, at 6:00 PM in the Family Life Center of First Christian Church in Covington. The session will be facilitated by Kate Parrish, chaplain & counselor with hospice.
 
Themes for the session will follow the “touchstones” highlighted by Dr. Alan Wolfelt in his book “Understanding Your Grief.”  Highlights of Tuesday’s session will be “Touchstone Two — “Dispel a Dozen Misconceptions about Grief.” Sessions are held on the fourth Tuesdays of each month.  
 
Everyone going through the grief journey is welcome and encouraged to attend.  To register your attendance or receive more information, you may call the local office of ConnectionPlus Hospice at 540-862-8820.
