City’s Cafe and Brewery Celebrates With Ribbon Cutting

COVINGTON, Va. (VR) – Alleghany Highlands Chamber of Commerce and Tourism and the city of Covington officially welcomed a new business on Wednesday evening as The City Cafe and Brewery held its ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Local leaders, family members, employees, and patrons gathered to mark the opening, with community speakers praising the cafe’s food and service during brief remarks.

The City Cafe and Brewery is owned by Jeannie Boguess and is located in Covington at 320 West Hawthorne Street and can be reached at 540-620-5589.
